Grow your own herbs, edible flowers, vegetables and cut flowers from seed. Our seed range comes from Piccolo Seeds, an Italian seed company based in Conegliano that packs kitchen-garden and cottage-garden varieties in packets, each with sowing instructions on the back.

You will find classic kitchen herbs such as basil, parsley, coriander and chives, tea herbs like chamomile, lemon balm and peppermint, edible flowers including nasturtium, borage and calendula, and cottage-garden favourites from cosmos and zinnia to sweet william and forget-me-nots. Many are easy enough to start on a windowsill, and plenty of the flowers feed bees and butterflies too; see our plants for wildlife and pollinators.

For gifts, our themed seed collections bring three packets together in a box, from herbal teas to baking with flowers. You will find trays, propagators and lights for starting seeds in propagation and growing equipment.
