Wild Rocket 'Wildfire Wasabi' Seeds

Sow outdoors from March to September. Small sowings every three to four weeks give a constant supply of young leaves, and sowings in late summer can be kept cropping into winter under a cloche.

Yes, wild rocket is a short-lived hardy perennial, unlike salad rocket, which is an annual. Plants regrow after cutting and can come back for a second year, though young plants give the most tender leaves.

It has a hot, horseradish-like heat that recalls wasabi, stronger than ordinary rocket, but it is not related to the wasabi plant. The leaves are hottest in dry, warm weather and milder when kept well watered.

*Unfortunately we cannot accept returns of undamaged plants as these are perishable items and are not saleable upon return. If a plant is damaged, we will compensate for this as per our live arrival guarantee.

Please keep in mind that "dispatch" refers to the time it takes our team to prepare and pack your items before handing them over to the courier, not the total delivery time.

Additionally, to protect the health and quality of our live plants, orders containing plants are exclusively shipped Monday through Thursday. This careful scheduling prevents your plants from being stuck in a dark shipping depot over the weekend, ensuring they arrive at your door vibrant and healthy.
