Valentine's gifts for plant lovers, including the Red Glazed Heart Planter and the White Heart Planter, both embossed with hearts. Fill one with a plant that has heart-shaped leaves, such as Philodendron hederaceum 'Scandens'. The Pepin Self Watering Olla Heart is handmade in Portugal, and the Houseplant Heart Card shows a heart drawn in houseplant leaves. Hand creams, soaps and candles are in Self Care.

The Red Glazed Heart Planter and the White Heart Planter are both glazed and embossed with hearts, and they look good all year round. Give one on its own, or add a plant to go in it.
Heart-shaped leaves suit the occasion. Philodendron hederaceum 'Scandens', often called the heartleaf philodendron, trails from a shelf and is easy to keep. Check the pot size on each product page so the plant fits the planter, and browse Hanging Houseplants for more trailing plants.
The Kew Gardens range includes the Bergamot and Ginger Hand Cream, with citrus and spice notes, and the Orchid and Vanilla Soap, a 240g bar with a fresh, unisex scent. For someone who prefers green scents to sweet ones, try the Green Bamboo Hand Cream or the Bonsai Tree Scented Jar Candle.
The Houseplant Heart Card shows a heart made from monstera, calathea and fern leaves and is blank inside. Add a Colombian 61% Dark Chocolate Bar, or let them choose their own plant with a GrowTropicals e-gift card.
A heart planter with a plant inside is a gift they can keep. The Red Glazed Heart Planter suits a trailing plant such as Philodendron hederaceum 'Scandens', which has heart-shaped leaves.
If they would prefer something that is not a plant, choose a Kew Gardens hand cream or soap from Self Care and add the Houseplant Heart Card.
Pick a plant whose nursery pot is a little smaller than the planter, so it sits inside and can be lifted out to water. The White Heart Planter measures 14 x 14 x 12.5cm, and the size options for the red planter are on its product page.
Small trailing plants work well, as do compact plants such as Begonia 'Inca Flame'. Tip out any water that collects in the bottom of the planter after watering, so the roots do not sit wet.
Yes. Self Care has Kew Gardens soaps, hand creams and hand sanitisers in several scents, from sandalwood and pink pepper to bluebell and jasmine.
The Tomato Leaf Scented Jar Candle and the Bonsai Tree candle each contain 140g of plant-based wax with around 30 hours of burn time. Other candles and decorations are in Home Accessories.
The Houseplant Heart Card is an illustration by Katrina Sophia of a heart made from houseplant leaves, including monstera, calathea and ferns. It is 148mm square, printed on thick textured card and blank inside for your own message.
It comes with a recycled kraft envelope and works for an anniversary or any time you want to show someone you care. More designs are in Greeting Cards.
Go by the scents they already like. The Gardenia & Neroli Hand Cream and the Bluebell and Jasmine Soap are floral, while the Bergamot and Ginger range balances citrus with spice.
For someone who finds floral scents too sweet, the Green Bamboo Hand Cream has pink pepper, cardamom and cedarwood notes. The Sandalwood and Pink Pepper soap is another option.
Yes. When you buy a GrowTropicals e-gift card you receive a unique code by email, and the recipient redeems it online at GrowTropicals.com for plants, planters or accessories.
It is a good choice when you are not sure which plants they already own. Pair it with the Houseplant Heart Card or a heart planter so there is something to unwrap, and browse All Gifts for other ideas.
