Bookmarks and sticky notes

Our plant stationery comes from Another Studio. The Leaf Bookmark Set in Brass has four etched leaves: Maranta leuconeura, Peperomia argyreia, Caladium bicolor and Begonia maculata. The Houseplant Bookmark Set is four stainless steel page markers shaped as Monstera deliciosa, Pilea peperomioides, Strelitzia and Schefflera, light enough to clip paperwork without leaving a dent.

The Monstera Leaf Sticky Notes are repositionable leaves of recycled paper, 10.5 x 7.4cm, for page markers, labels and desk notes. Plant pocket notebooks join the range when they are in stock.

Pairing stationery with a plant

A bookmark set pairs well with the real plant. Give the brass set with a Begonia maculata 'Polka Dot' or a Maranta leuconeura 'Fascinator', or the stainless steel set with a Pilea peperomioides.

For a smaller gift, both bookmark sets fit inside a standard greetings card. Choose one from our greeting cards, or add the Houseplant Care Cards for someone new to plants.

Gifts for readers and writers

Stationery suits people who read and write about their plants. Pair a bookmark set with a title from Books & Games, such as Plant Names Simplified, or with A Plant Lover's Sticker Book for decorating notebooks and journals.

Frequently Asked Questions

What plant stationery do you sell?

We stock botanical bookmarks and sticky notes from Another Studio: the Leaf Bookmark Set in Brass, the stainless steel Houseplant Bookmark Set and the Monstera Leaf Sticky Notes.

Plant pocket notebooks are added when they are in stock. For other paper gifts, see our greeting cards, which include plant designs for birthdays and Christmas.

Will a bookmark set fit in a greetings card?

Yes. Both bookmark sets fit inside a standard greetings card. The packaging for the Leaf Bookmark Set in Brass measures 175 x 124mm and the packaging for the Houseplant Bookmark Set measures 148 x 105mm.

That makes them easy to post with a card, or to add to a plant order as a small extra. See our greeting cards for a card to go with one.

Which plants are on the bookmarks?

The brass set shows Maranta leuconeura, Peperomia argyreia, Caladium bicolor and Begonia maculata. The stainless steel set shows Monstera deliciosa, Pilea peperomioides, Strelitzia (bird of paradise) and Schefflera (umbrella plant).

If the person you are buying for grows one of these, add the real plant. You can give the brass set with a Begonia maculata 'Polka Dot', or the steel set with a Pilea peperomioides.

What are the Monstera leaf sticky notes like?

Each pad has 50 sheets of 80gsm recycled paper cut into a monstera leaf shape, 10.5 x 7.4cm, on a 300gsm backing. The adhesive strip is repositionable, so they work as page markers, temporary labels or desk reminders.

The Monstera Leaf Sticky Notes are fully recyclable and make a small add-on to a larger gift, such as a plant from our houseplants under £10.

Is plant stationery a good gift for someone who does not keep plants?

Yes. A bookmark set or sticky notes need no care, so they suit people who like the look of plants but do not grow them. The Houseplant Bookmark Set works for any keen reader.

If they might like to start, a plant from our easy care houseplants and the Houseplant Care Cards give them a simple way in.

What else can I add to a stationery gift?

A book puts a bookmark to use straight away. Plant Names Simplified is a pocket reference to botanical Latin, and our Books & Games collection has more plant titles.

For a fuller present, add a candle or a brass Plant Animal from our Home Accessories gifts. If you cannot decide, the GrowTropicals e-gift card lets them choose.
