Echinacea 'Starlight' Seeds

Plants sown early, in February or March, may give a few flowers late in their first summer, but most build a strong root system first and flower fully from the second year. After that they flower every summer for years.

Yes, Echinacea purpurea is a hardy perennial. It dies back in winter and returns each spring, and established clumps cope well with dry spells as long as the soil drains freely in winter.

Usually 10 to 21 days at around 20°C. If germination is patchy, a few weeks of cold, either outdoors in a cold frame or in moist compost in the fridge, often helps the remaining seed.

*Unfortunately we cannot accept returns of undamaged plants as these are perishable items and are not saleable upon return. If a plant is damaged, we will compensate for this as per our live arrival guarantee.

Please keep in mind that "dispatch" refers to the time it takes our team to prepare and pack your items before handing them over to the courier, not the total delivery time.

This careful scheduling prevents your plants from being stuck in a dark shipping depot over the weekend, ensuring they arrive at your door vibrant and healthy.
