🌿 Plant Care Tips

A relative of Hoya, this incredible Dischidia is not commonly seen in cultivation. In nature, it is a myrmecophyte, which means it has a symbiosis with ants. The leaves grow flat, shingling, up a tree and the ants use the leaves as protection. In return, the ants bring nutrients and clear pests.

  • Unique rare plant
  • Easy growing
  • Can be grown shingling up a mount or pole

Growth habit: Shingling, appressed climber

Water: Water when soil is almost completely dry.

Light: Bright indirect light to dappled shade.

Humidity: Thrives in higher humidity.
