Should I repot my plant into the decorative pot I bought?
Not straight away. Keep the plant in its nursery pot inside the decorative pot for the first few weeks so it can settle in. The nursery pot has drainage and the plant is used to it. Repotting in the first 7 days also voids the live arrival guarantee.
Once it is showing new growth, usually after a growing season or when roots appear at the drainage holes, move it into fresh compost. Most decorative pots have no drainage hole, so either keep the nursery pot inside as a liner or drill a hole and add a saucer.
