🌿 Plant Care Tips

Scindapsus 'Silver Splash is a captivating cultivar known for its heavy silver dappled leaves, with only very small patches of darker green.

Native to: The Scindapsus genus originates from the tropical regions of Southeast Asia, including countries such as Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia. In its natural habitat, it thrives as an understory plant, climbing trees and other structures.

Water: Allow the top inch of soil to dry out before watering. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so it's essential to ensure the pot has adequate drainage. During the growing season (spring and summer), maintain consistent moisture levels, reducing frequency in the dormant months (autumn and winter).

Light: Scindapsus 'Silver Splash' prefers bright, indirect light but can tolerate lower light conditions. Avoid direct sunlight, as it may cause leaf scorching. In lower light, growth may slow, and leaf colour can become less vibrant.

Humidity: This plant thrives in moderate to high humidity levels, ideally between 50% and 70%. In typical indoor environments, it adapts well, but occasional misting or the use of a humidity tray can be beneficial, especially during the dry winter months.

Temperature: Maintain indoor temperatures between 18°C and 24°C. Scindapsus 'Silver Splash' is sensitive to cold drafts and sudden temperature changes, so keep it away from open windows and heating vents.

We offer free mainland delivery on all orders over £60

All plants are shipped using express next day services with DPD, UPS, Parcelforce and Royal Mail.

We offer economy shipping (3-5 day dispatch) and standard delivery (1-3 day dispatch).

For guaranteed next day dispatch please selected Express shipping at checkout available at an additional cost.

All plants are shipped in their plastic nursery pot unless otherwise stated.

Plant pot sizes can fluctuate +/- 1cm.

We recommend to always size up your decorative pot by 1-2cm larger than the stated plant pot size. For example if you are purchasing a 12cm plant, you should purchase a 14cm decorative pot to ensure it will fit correctly.

We pride ourselves on the love and care with give our plants. Our entire team are plant obsessives at heart and so we go above and beyond to care for the plants we have in stock.

That said, plants are living beings and may differ slightly from the photo provided unless otherwise stated. Small leaf imperfections may be present and won't be compensated for.

Some plants such as Begonia may suffer slight leaf melt when shipped. This is normal and nothing to be concerned about.

All our plants are stores and/or grown in our nursery under LED lighting so they are in active growth when arriving with you.

The conditions in our nursery are a minimum of 60% humidity and 19C year round.
