Tetranema roseum, commonly known as Mexican foxglove, is a compact, evergreen plant in the Plantaginaceae family. It features obovate, leathery leaves up to 15 cm long and produces clusters of trumpet-shaped, light purple flowers with paler throats, typically around 1.5 cm across. The plant has a bushy growth habit and can reach up to 20 cm in height.
This species is suitable for indoor cultivation, thriving in environments that can provide consistent warmth and humidity. Its compact size and preference for humid conditions make it an excellent candidate for terrariums or small indoor spaces.

Tetranema roseum is native to regions from Mexico to Honduras, primarily inhabiting subtropical biomes.
Water:
Maintain moist but well-drained soil, ensuring it does not become waterlogged. Water moderately during the growing season and reduce watering in winter.
Light:
Prefers bright, diffused light. It can tolerate full shade and is best positioned in north, west, or east-facing aspects.
Humidity:
Thrives in moderate to high humidity levels, ideally between 60–90%. Its humidity requirements make it well-suited for terrarium cultivation.
Temperature:
Prefers temperatures ranging from 18°C to 24°C. Avoid exposure to temperatures below 15°C, as cold drafts can damage the plant.

That said, plants are living beings and may differ slightly from the photo provided unless otherwise stated. Small leaf imperfections may be present and won't be compensated for.
Some plants such as Begonia may suffer slight leaf melt when shipped. This is normal and nothing to be concerned about.
All our plants are stores and/or grown in our nursery under LED lighting so they are in active growth when arriving with you.
The conditions in our nursery are a minimum of 60% humidity and 19C year round.
