Description
A tiny glass garden that doubles as a Christmas decoration, ready to hang in a window or stand on a shelf.
Peperomia prostrata, the string of turtles, has little round leaves patterned like a turtle shell that trail over the edge of the glass. Gynura 'Purple Passion' brings soft, velvety leaves covered in purple hairs that catch the light beautifully.
Both love the warm, humid air a bauble holds, and both stay happy in bright, indirect light. Give the Gynura a pinch every so often to keep it compact and it will stay bushy inside the glass.
What's in the bundle:
- Peperomia Prostrata (6cm)
- Gynura aurantiaca 'Purple Passion' (7cm)
- Terrarium Bauble - 8cm (Standard)
Fancy trying a festive terrarium? This kit is the perfect starting point, and what's more, you save some money too.

What a stunning plant! I can't get over how vivid the purple is, it's almost neon. Plant arrived quickly, very well packaged, and in perfect condition. She is now living her best self in my living room with some new plant friends. Would highly recommend this plant and the company, and I'll be sure to be back for more.

I’ve had to be so careful with this plant because more ‘turtles’ fall off at the slightest nudge! It’s a lovely plant and I can’t wait to get it to it’s hanging pot, so that it can get on with growing bigger :relaxed:️

Love love love her so much! Her patterns are so cute, but she is delicate so be careful. She arrived quickly and safely, and looks amazing on my desk. Looking forward to adding to my small collection of plant babies soon!
