Description
Two characterful succulents and the free-draining mix they need to do well.
Variegated string of pearls (Senecio rowleyanus variegated) trails from a shelf in strings of bead-like leaves, each marbled with cream and white. Lithops, or living stones, are the opposite: tiny, slow-growing plants that look like the pebbles of their native habitat.
Both store water in their leaves, so they want bright light and very little watering. Simply Cacti mix gives them the drainage and aeration drought-tolerant plants rely on. There is enough here to pot up both, with some to spare.
What's in the bundle:
- Senecio rowleyanus variegated (6cm)
- Lithops sp. (6cm (Grower's Choice))
- Simply Cacti - Tropical Houseplant Potting Mix (8L)

On arrival several of the lithops were shrivelled and dead and one was rotten and mushy. They have offered a 50% refund.

I bought a 6cm (Growers Choice) pot in February, the plants were healthy and well packaged. To my surprise last week one of these Lithops produced a flower. I would definitely recommend this company and would definitely buy from them again.

Really sparse, maybe it didn’t travel well as well. 3 rooted strings longer than 4cm. Contacted support and was told the listed measurements refer to pot size, not plant size, which is worth knowing before ordering.
E
Super cute little baby pearl plant I look forward to it growing longer. Came well packaged during the heta wave.

Fantastic looking things
Arrived in almost excellent condition one was hanging out of the pot almost lucky it seems good now after gently putting back into place. Might have been during transport or handling of parcel by royal mail
Im looking g forward to see how this strange wierd plant will do
Excellent and a talking point I would definitely definitely buy again from tropical excellent service

I ordered two of these babies to combine for a fuller look. Thrilled with them and a fantastic price. They're much better value and quality than what I've seen on eBay! Those sellers are offering a few unrooted cuttings for the same price!
Please note, my photo was taken after I purchased and added a third pot.

I love it so much.
Packaging was so impressive.
I will definitely buy some more plants.
Excellent customer service.

I once had a well established SoP for quite a while, but the variegated seem to dislike me :sleepy:
I'll keep trying though! :hand_with_index_and_middle_fingers_crossed::skin-tone-2:
Healthy plant; well packed; bit of a drama queen :u1FAB4:
Would recommend, just don't look at her too much.

I got two pots of lithops on sale, very cute! A few different colours and stages of growth - I've combined them in to one pot. Packaged very safely even when shipped with much bigger plants and I always appreciate the recyclable packaging.
L
A really sweet little plant, can’t wait for it to grow and cascade from a hanging pot
E
9/10 perfect plants, very happy thank you!
H
Plants are sweet, hoverer lithops arrived wrapped in a plastic bag, and they seemingly soaked moisture in from another plant in the same parcel, and they got really puffed up, a couple burst, and a few mofe feel soft and mushy, especially the green kind ones, not sure if they will survive, but the rest seems good, and there are various different colours in the mix
K
Convenient scientifically formulated substrate mix that the plants seem to love.
N
I am happy with my purchase :relaxed:️

Wanting these to add to my planter, Lithops have always fascinated me. Arrived in perfect condition and just like the photo. A talking point in my house, guests can't believe they are living plants!

The quality is brilliant, however my plant only came with a couple strings on it, 3-4 in total, was expecting more

Arrived well cared for. Love the colours on this string of pearls. Looking forward to when it's bigger with more trails. Thank you!
M
Nice little tropical plant. A great addition to my collection
C
Arrived well packaged and in good condition, but considering they are sold as a "mix", there is not much of a mix in the two pots that I bought. One small pot contains 4 identical plants. The larger pot contains 17 plants packed into it, with all but 1 being exactly the same. Maybe I misunderstood, but the image of the small pot in particular shows a mixture of colours, and they are sold with "mix" in the description. I know it says "grower's choice" and I wasn't expecrting the images on the website to reflect exactly what I would get, but I was hoping for some variety! At least the plants are healthy!

So pleased with my 3 large very healthy lithops. It is also very convenient to be able to buy the right size pot at the same time with a varied colour range.
