Pick a small handful of leaves, bruise them lightly between your fingers and pour over water just off the boil. Cover and steep for about five minutes, then strain. The three herbs work well alone or mixed, and the leaves can also be dried for winter.

Yes. All three can be raised on a bright windowsill, and holy basil does best indoors or in a greenhouse in a typical UK summer. Peppermint and lemon balm grow stronger outside in pots once established, where they get more light.

Peppermint and lemon balm are hardy perennials: they die back in winter and regrow each spring. Holy basil is tender and will not survive frost, so sow it fresh each year; the packet holds enough seed for several sowings.

*Unfortunately we cannot accept returns of undamaged plants as these are perishable items and are not saleable upon return. If a plant is damaged, we will compensate for this as per our live arrival guarantee.

Please keep in mind that "dispatch" refers to the time it takes our team to prepare and pack your items before handing them over to the courier, not the total delivery time.

Additionally, to protect the health and quality of our live plants, orders containing plants are exclusively shipped Monday through Thursday. This careful scheduling prevents your plants from being stuck in a dark shipping depot over the weekend, ensuring they arrive at your door vibrant and healthy.
