Euphorbia milii, commonly known as the crown of thorns, is a succulent species native to Madagascar. This plant is characterized by its woody, spiny stems and vibrant bracts that surround its small, inconspicuous flowers. The bracts come in various shades, including red, pink, and white, and can bloom year-round under suitable conditions.

Water
As a drought-tolerant succulent, Euphorbia milii prefers the soil to dry out between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so it's essential to ensure the potting medium is well-draining. During winter months, reduce watering frequency as the plant's growth slows down.
Light
This plant flourishes in bright, direct sunlight. Placing it near a south-facing window ensures it receives ample light, promoting continuous blooming and robust growth.
Humidity
Euphorbia milii adapts well to average household humidity levels and does not require additional humidity. It tolerates dry indoor air, making it suitable for various indoor environments.
Temperature
Optimal growth occurs in temperatures ranging from 15°C to 24°C. The plant can tolerate temperatures as low as 10°C but should be protected from sudden temperature drops and cold drafts.
When handling Euphorbia milii, exercise caution due to its sharp thorns and the milky sap it exudes when cut, which can be irritating to the skin and is mildly toxic if ingested. Wearing gloves during pruning or repotting is advisable.

That said, plants are living beings and may differ slightly from the photo provided unless otherwise stated. Small leaf imperfections may be present and won't be compensated for.
Some plants such as Begonia may suffer slight leaf melt when shipped. This is normal and nothing to be concerned about.
All our plants are stores and/or grown in our nursery under LED lighting so they are in active growth when arriving with you.
The conditions in our nursery are a minimum of 60% humidity and 19C year round.
