🌿 Plant Care Tips

Episcia 'Pink Brocade's leaves exhibit a blend of pink, green, and white hues, creating a captivating visual appeal. This plant's trailing habit makes it ideal for hanging baskets or as a ground cover in terrariums.

Native to: Episcia species are native to Central and South America, thriving in the understory of tropical forests.

Water: Maintain consistently moist soil, ensuring it is well-draining to prevent root rot. Water thoroughly when the top layer feels dry, but avoid waterlogging. During the growing season, regular watering is essential, while in winter, allow the soil to dry slightly between waterings.

Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight can scorch the leaves, while insufficient light may lead to leggy growth and reduced variegation. A location near an east or north-facing window is ideal.

Humidity: Thrives in high humidity environments, ideally between 60% and 80%. Regular misting, using a humidity tray, or placing the plant in a terrarium can help maintain appropriate moisture levels. Avoid placing it near drafts or in dry air, as this can cause leaf edges to brown.

Temperature: Favors warm indoor temperatures between 18°C and 24°C. Protect the plant from cold drafts and sudden temperature fluctuations. Ensure temperatures do not drop below 15°C to prevent stress.

All plants are shipped using express next day services with DPD, UPS, Parcelforce and Royal Mail.

We offer economy shipping (3-5 day dispatch) and standard delivery (1-3 day dispatch).

For guaranteed next day dispatch please selected Express shipping at checkout available at an additional cost.

All plants are shipped in their plastic nursery pot unless otherwise stated.

Plant pot sizes can fluctuate +/- 1cm.

We recommend to always size up your decorative pot by 1-2cm larger than the stated plant pot size. For example if you are purchasing a 12cm plant, you should purchase a 14cm decorative pot to ensure it will fit correctly.

We pride ourselves on the love and care with give our plants. Our entire team are plant obsessives at heart and so we go above and beyond to care for the plants we have in stock.

That said, plants are living beings and may differ slightly from the photo provided unless otherwise stated. Small leaf imperfections may be present and won't be compensated for.

Some plants such as Begonia may suffer slight leaf melt when shipped. This is normal and nothing to be concerned about.

All our plants are stores and/or grown in our nursery under LED lighting so they are in active growth when arriving with you.

The conditions in our nursery are a minimum of 60% humidity and 19C year round.
