Native to: Begonia negrosensis is native to the island of Negros in the Philippines, where it grows in the understory of tropical rainforests.

Humidity: High humidity levels of 60% to 80% are ideal for Begonia negrosensis. This plant also thrives in terrariums, where the humidity is naturally higher.
Temperature: Keep the temperature between 18°C and 24°C for optimal growth. This Begonia does not tolerate cold well, so it’s important to protect it from drafts and sudden temperature drops.
Begonias are notoriously fussy and are prone to die back or 'melting' when shipped. We pack with care but expect some level of die back when you receive the plant. With appropriate care the plant will grow back stronger and be more suited to the conditions you provide. Only purchase if you are confident in your ability to care for this plant.

We pride ourselves on the love and care with give our plants. Our entire team are plant obsessives at heart and so we go above and beyond to care for the plants we have in stock.
That said, plants are living beings and may differ slightly from the photo provided unless otherwise stated. Small leaf imperfections may be present and won't be compensated for.
Some plants such as Begonia may suffer slight leaf melt when shipped. This is normal and nothing to be concerned about.
All our plants are stores and/or grown in our nursery under LED lighting so they are in active growth when arriving with you.
The conditions in our nursery are a minimum of 60% humidity and 19C year round.
