Lepanthes

Lepanthes are miniature orchids from cool, humid cloud forests, grown for their tiny, intricate, often brightly coloured flowers.

Most are only a few centimetres tall, making them perfect terrarium subjects.

Lepanthes need cool to intermediate temperatures, high humidity, gentle airflow and bright, indirect light. A terrarium or orchid case is ideal.

Keep the roots evenly moist with soft or rainwater, never fully dry or waterlogged.

They are difficult to keep in open, dry room air.
