Expect about 1.2 to 1.5 m, depending on soil and sun. It makes a single stem with one large flower head rather than a branching plant, so it suits a row along a fence or the back of a border.

Yes. Give each plant a pot about 40 cm wide and deep, use good compost and water generously in summer. Set the pot somewhere sunny and out of strong wind, and add a cane for support.

Yes. Leave the heads on the plant after flowering and the seed ripens in autumn, when finches and other seed-eating birds will feed on it. You can also cut the ripe heads and hang them up as a bird feeder.

*Unfortunately we cannot accept returns of undamaged plants as these are perishable items and are not saleable upon return. If a plant is damaged, we will compensate for this as per our live arrival guarantee.

Please keep in mind that "dispatch" refers to the time it takes our team to prepare and pack your items before handing them over to the courier, not the total delivery time.

Additionally, to protect the health and quality of our live plants, orders containing plants are exclusively shipped Monday through Thursday. This careful scheduling prevents your plants from being stuck in a dark shipping depot over the weekend, ensuring they arrive at your door vibrant and healthy.
