It doesn't just make roots grow longer; it encourages the development of a complex, efficient root system capable of maximum nutrient uptake. Whether you are propagating rare Aroids or managing a full hydroponic setup, this is the fuel your engine needs.

  • Explosive Root Growth: It drastically improves the success rate of cuttings and transplants by helping them develop large root systems quickly.

  • Disease Shield: Healthy roots are resistant roots. Continued use helps protect your plants from nasty pathogens and fungi, specifically Pythium, which can turn a flourishing root system into dark brown sludge.

  • Efficiency Boost: By creating a more complex root zone, Katana Roots improves the uptake mechanism, ensuring your plants can absorb the maximum amount of nutrients to fuel faster growth above ground.

  • Stress Recovery: It is highly effective when used as a foliar spray to help stressed plants recover quickly.

How To Use

  • For Propagation (Seedlings & Cuttings): Use 5ml per litre. You can soak your propagation media (plugs/moss) in this solution for 15 minutes before use to improve success rates. Continue to use once per week for the first 1-2 weeks.

  • For Established Plants: Once established, lower the dose to 0.2ml per litre. Use this throughout the vegetative stage and the first 3 weeks of flowering to maintain root health.

  • Foliar Spray: Mix 5ml per litre and spray 1-2 times per week to revive stressed plants.

Pro-Tip: Don't Forget the Soak If you are struggling with rooting stubborn cuttings, try the "soak method." Soaking your propagation plugs in a 5ml/L solution of Katana Roots for 15 minutes before inserting the cutting gives the stem immediate access to the stimulants it needs to pop those first roots.

All plants are shipped using express next day services with DPD, UPS, Parcelforce and Royal Mail.

We offer economy shipping (3-5 day dispatch) and standard delivery (1-3 day dispatch).

All plants are shipped in their plastic nursery pot unless otherwise stated.

Plant pot sizes can fluctuate +/- 1cm.

We recommend to always size up your decorative pot by 1-2cm larger than the stated plant pot size. For example if you are purchasing a 12cm plant, you should purchase a 14cm decorative pot to ensure it will fit correctly.

We pride ourselves on the love and care with give our plants. Our entire team are plant obsessives at heart and so we go above and beyond to care for the plants we have in stock.

That said, plants are living beings and may differ slightly from the photo provided unless otherwise stated. Small leaf imperfections may be present and won't be compensated for.

Some plants such as Begonia may suffer slight leaf melt when shipped. This is normal and nothing to be concerned about.

All our plants are stores and/or grown in our nursery under LED lighting so they are in active growth when arriving with you.

The conditions in our nursery are a minimum of 60% humidity and 19C year round.
