Sedum takesimense 'Atlantis', also known as Takeshima Stonecrop, is a compact succulent cultivar distinguished by its rosettes of fleshy, serrated leaves. The foliage features a dark green centre with broad, creamy yellow margins, and may develop pinkish tones in cooler temperatures. In summer, it produces clusters of small, star-shaped yellow flowers atop short stems. This plant grows to approximately 10–15 cm in height and spreads up to 25–30 cm in width.
'Atlantis' is well-suited for both indoor and outdoor cultivation due to its preference for bright light and minimal watering requirements. Its compact size makes it ideal for windowsills or small spaces. The plant's drought tolerance and low maintenance needs further enhance its ease of growing.
Native to: Sedum takesimense is native to coastal regions of Korea, where it grows among rocks by the sea.
Water: Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Water sparingly, approximately every 9–12 days, depending on indoor humidity and temperature. Overwatering can lead to root rot; ensure the pot has adequate drainage.
Light: Thrives in bright light. Place near a south-facing window in up to full sun or under grow lights to maintain vibrant foliage. Insufficient light may cause the plant to become leggy and lose variegation.
Humidity: Prefers low to moderate humidity levels. Avoid high humidity areas, as excessive moisture can promote fungal issues.
Temperature: Hardy even outside below freezing if given good drainage and full sun aspect.

All plants are shipped in their plastic nursery pot unless otherwise stated.
Plant pot sizes can fluctuate +/- 1cm.
We recommend to always size up your decorative pot by 1-2cm larger than the stated plant pot size. For example if you are purchasing a 12cm plant, you should purchase a 14cm decorative pot to ensure it will fit correctly.
We pride ourselves on the love and care with give our plants. Our entire team are plant obsessives at heart and so we go above and beyond to care for the plants we have in stock.
That said, plants are living beings and may differ slightly from the photo provided unless otherwise stated. Small leaf imperfections may be present and won't be compensated for.
Some plants such as Begonia, may suffer slight leaf melt when shipped. This is normal and nothing to be concerned about.
All our plants are stores and/or grown in our nursery under LED lighting so they are in active growth when arriving with you.
The conditions in our nursery are a minimum of 60% humidity and 19C year round.
