It is a cross between Philodendron Verrucosum and Philodendron Sodiroi, inheriting the best traits from both parent plants. The foliage is heart-shaped with prominent veins, initially emerging with a reddish hue before maturing to a deep green with silver accents. This plant adds a dramatic, tropical flair to any indoor space, making it a popular choice among plant enthusiasts.
Native to: As a hybrid, Philodendron Majestic does not have a natural habitat but combines traits from its parent species, Philodendron Verrucosum and Philodendron Sodiroi, which are native to the tropical rainforests of Central and South America. These regions provide the warm, humid conditions that Philodendron Majestic thrives in.
Water: Water Philodendron Majestic thoroughly when the top 2-3 cm of soil feels dry to the touch. Ensure the potting mix is well-draining to prevent waterlogging and root rot. During the growing season, maintain consistent moisture, but reduce watering in the cooler months when the plant's growth slows.
Light: This plant prefers bright, indirect light to maintain its vibrant foliage. Direct sunlight can scorch the leaves, while too little light can cause the plant to become leggy and lose its variegation. A spot near a north or east-facing window is ideal, or use sheer curtains to diffuse strong sunlight from south or west-facing windows.
Humidity: Philodendron Majestic thrives in high humidity levels, ideally between 60% and 80%. If the indoor air is dry, especially during winter, use a humidifier or place the plant on a pebble tray with water to increase humidity. Its velvety leaves benefit from the added moisture, maintaining their lush appearance.
Temperature: Maintain a temperature range of 18°C to 26°C for optimal growth. This plant does not tolerate cold drafts or temperatures below 15°C, as it is sensitive to cold. Keeping it in a warm, stable environment will help it thrive and display its beautiful foliage to the fullest.

All our plants are stores and/or grown in our nursery under LED lighting so they are in active growth when arriving with you.
The conditions in our nursery are a minimum of 60% humidity and 19C year round.
