Description
Philodendron 'Florida Green' is a climbing hybrid with deeply lobed, pinnately divided leaves that become increasingly complex and dramatic as the plant matures. Young leaves may have three or four lobes; mature leaves can develop five or more distinct fingers. The petioles are often tinged with red or pink, adding a warm accent. It is a vigorous climber that responds well to a moss pole, producing increasingly larger and more divided foliage as it gains height. A rewarding grower among collector Philodendrons.
Origins
Philodendron 'Florida Green' is a cultivated hybrid, thought to be a cross between Philodendron pedatum and Philodendron squamiferum. Both parents are native to the tropical forests of South America.

Philodendron Florida Green is an easy-care houseplant. It needs bright indirect light, watering once the top 2 to 3cm of compost has dried out, a little extra humidity and a minimum temperature of 13°C. It is harmful to pets and small children if eaten.
