Pansy 'Clear Crystals Mix' Seeds

Yes, the whole flower is edible and has a mild, slightly grassy taste. Pick fresh flowers from plants that have not been sprayed, rinse gently and use them on cakes, biscuits, salads and drinks. They can also be crystallised with egg white and sugar.

Sow February to March for flowers through summer, or June to July for plants that flower in autumn, pause in the coldest weather and flower again in spring. Pansy seed germinates best in cool conditions, so avoid a hot windowsill in midsummer.

Pansies are short-lived perennials but are usually treated as annuals or biennials, as plants get leggy and flower less after their first season. Fresh sowings each year give the best display.

*Unfortunately we cannot accept returns of undamaged plants as these are perishable items and are not saleable upon return. If a plant is damaged, we will compensate for this as per our live arrival guarantee.

Additionally, to protect the health and quality of our live plants, orders containing plants are exclusively shipped Monday through Thursday. This careful scheduling prevents your plants from being stuck in a dark shipping depot over the weekend, ensuring they arrive at your door vibrant and healthy.
