Monstera oreophila is an extremely rare species of Monstera known for its large, fenestrated leaves when mature.
Native to Monstera oreophila is endemic to the tropical rainforests of Costa Rica where it thrives in the humid, shaded understory.
Water Maintain slightly moist soil for Monstera oreophila, allowing the top 2–5 cm to dry out between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so ensure the pot has adequate drainage. During the growing season, regular watering supports healthy growth, while in winter, reduce frequency as the plant's water needs decrease.
Light This plant flourishes in bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight can scorch its leaves, so it's best positioned near a window with filtered light or in a well-lit room away from harsh sun rays.
Humidity Originating from humid rainforests, Monstera oreophila prefers humidity levels between 60% and 80%. To replicate these conditions indoors, consider using a humidifier or placing the plant on a tray with water and pebbles.
Temperature Monstera oreophila thrives in warm indoor temperatures ranging from 18°C to 26°C. Protect it from cold drafts and sudden temperature fluctuations, as it is sensitive to temperatures below 10°C. Consistent warmth will encourage vigorous growth and overall health.

We pride ourselves on the love and care with give our plants. Our entire team are plant obsessives at heart and so we go above and beyond to care for the plants we have in stock.
That said, plants are living beings and may differ slightly from the photo provided unless otherwise stated. Small leaf imperfections may be present and won't be compensated for.
Some plants such as Begonia may suffer slight leaf melt when shipped. This is normal and nothing to be concerned about.
All our plants are stores and/or grown in our nursery under LED lighting so they are in active growth when arriving with you.
The conditions in our nursery are a minimum of 60% humidity and 19C year round.
