Hoya latifolia 'Maluku' is a stunning rarer cultivar of Hoya latifolia. This Hoya's robust, trailing or vining growth habit makes it an excellent candidate for hanging baskets or for growing up a trellis
Native to: Hoya latifolia 'Maluku' is native to the Maluku Islands in Indonesia. These islands have a warm, tropical climate, which is ideal for the plant's growth.
Water: Water the Hoya latifolia 'Maluku' thoroughly, allowing the soil to dry out slightly between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so it is crucial to ensure that the plant is in well-draining soil. In a humid environment, such as a terrarium, the plant may require less frequent watering.
Light: This Hoya thrives in bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight should be avoided as it can scorch the leaves. It can adapt to lower light conditions, but optimal growth and blooming occur in brighter settings with filtered light.
Humidity: Hoya latifolia 'Maluku' prefers high humidity levels, ideally between 60% and 80%. To maintain these levels, consider using a humidifier or placing the plant on a tray filled with water and pebbles. It is also well-suited for growth in terrariums where natural humidity is high.
Temperature: Keep this plant in a temperature range of 18°C to 26°C. It is sensitive to cold and should be protected from temperatures below 15°C. Consistent warmth will support its growth and flowering.

Winter shipping is available during colder months and includes heat packs and thermal insulation where needed.

All plants are shipped in their plastic nursery pot unless otherwise stated.
Plant pot sizes can fluctuate +/- 1cm.
We recommend to always size up your decorative pot by 1-2cm larger than the stated plant pot size. For example if you are purchasing a 12cm plant, you should purchase a 14cm decorative pot to ensure it will fit correctly.
We pride ourselves on the love and care with give our plants. Our entire team are plant obsessives at heart and so we go above and beyond to care for the plants we have in stock.
That said, plants are living beings and may differ slightly from the photo provided unless otherwise stated. Small leaf imperfections may be present and won't be compensated for.
Some plants such as Begonia, may suffer slight leaf melt when shipped. This is normal and nothing to be concerned about.
All our plants are stores and/or grown in our nursery under LED lighting so they are in active growth when arriving with you.
The conditions in our nursery are a minimum of 60% humidity and 19C year round.
