Hoya carnosa 'Krimson Queen Splash' is a unique form of the popular variegated cultivar of the Hoya carnosa species, Krimson Queen, known for its distinctive foliage and attractive blooms. This variety features waxy leaves with creamy white margins and green centers, often adorned with silver or lighter green speckles, giving a 'splash' effect. New growth may exhibit pinkish hues before maturing. The plant produces clusters of star-shaped, light-pink flowers with a gentle fragrance.
Native to: As a cultivar, Hoya carnosa 'Krimson Queen Splash' does not occur naturally in the wild but has been developed through cultivation. The parent species, Hoya carnosa, is native to East Asia, including southern China, Taiwan, Laos, and Japan.
Water: Requires well-draining soil; water thoroughly but allow the soil to dry out between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so it's essential to let the top layer of soil dry before the next watering. In fall and winter, reduce watering frequency as the plant's growth slows.
Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light; avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves. Insufficient light may result in slower growth and reduced flowering.
Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity levels. While it can adapt to average indoor humidity, increasing humidity through occasional misting or using a humidity tray can promote healthier growth.
Temperature: Favors temperatures between 18–24°C. Protect from cold drafts and avoid exposure to temperatures below 15°C.

That said, plants are living beings and may differ slightly from the photo provided unless otherwise stated. Small leaf imperfections may be present and won't be compensated for.
Some plants such as Begonia may suffer slight leaf melt when shipped. This is normal and nothing to be concerned about.
All our plants are stores and/or grown in our nursery under LED lighting so they are in active growth when arriving with you.
The conditions in our nursery are a minimum of 60% humidity and 19C year round.
