Native to: Anthurium wendlingeri is native to the tropical forests of southeastern Nicaragua to northwestern Colombia. These regions provide the humid, shaded conditions that this plant naturally thrives in as an epiphyte.
Water: Allow the top 3 cm of soil to dry out before watering. This plant prefers consistent moisture but should not be left in waterlogged soil. Good drainage is crucial to prevent root rot. Adjust the watering frequency based on the humidity levels and temperature of the indoor environment.
Light: This Anthurium prefers bright, indirect sunlight. Direct sunlight can scorch its velvety leaves, so it’s best placed in a location where it receives filtered light. It can also adapt to lower light conditions, though its growth may slow.
Humidity: Flourishing in high humidity environments, Anthurium wendlingeri benefits from humidity levels of 70% or higher. To maintain these conditions, consider using a humidifier, placing the plant on a pebble tray with water, or grouping it with other plants to create a more humid microenvironment. This species is also well-suited for terrariums due to its humidity requirements.
Temperature: Maintain a temperature range of 18°C to 26°C for optimal growth. Avoid exposing the plant to temperatures below 15°C, as it is sensitive to cold. The warm, stable temperatures typical of its native habitat are ideal for this Anthurium.

All plants are shipped in their plastic nursery pot unless otherwise stated.
Plant pot sizes can fluctuate +/- 1cm.
We recommend to always size up your decorative pot by 1-2cm larger than the stated plant pot size. For example if you are purchasing a 12cm plant, you should purchase a 14cm decorative pot to ensure it will fit correctly.
We pride ourselves on the love and care with give our plants. Our entire team are plant obsessives at heart and so we go above and beyond to care for the plants we have in stock.
That said, plants are living beings and may differ slightly from the photo provided unless otherwise stated. Small leaf imperfections may be present and won't be compensated for.
Some plants such as Begonia, may suffer slight leaf melt when shipped. This is normal and nothing to be concerned about.
All our plants are stores and/or grown in our nursery under LED lighting so they are in active growth when arriving with you.
The conditions in our nursery are a minimum of 60% humidity and 19C year round.
