Anthurium crystallinum x regale is a captivating hybrid produced in Holland known for its large, velvety leaves adorned with prominent, silver-white veins. This plant is a hybrid of two popular species, Anthurium crystallinum and Anthurium regale, combining the best features of both parents to create a striking and elegant addition to any indoor plant collection.

Native to: The parent species of this hybrid are native to the tropical rainforests of Central and South America, particularly found in countries like Colombia, Peru, and Ecuador. They thrive in the humid understory, where they receive dappled light and consistent moisture.

Water: Water your Anthurium crystallinum x regale when the top 2-3 cm of the soil has dried out. This plant prefers a well-draining, airy soil mix to prevent root rot. Ensure the pot has proper drainage, and avoid overwatering by allowing excess water to drain completely. During the winter months, reduce watering slightly as the plant's growth slows.

Light: This hybrid thrives in bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight can scorch its delicate leaves, so place it in a location where it receives filtered or diffused light. It can tolerate lower light conditions, but the foliage may become less vibrant, and growth may slow.

Humidity: Anthurium crystallinum x regale requires high humidity levels of around 60% to 80% to maintain its lush appearance. Use a humidifier, a pebble tray with water, or regularly mist the plant to achieve these conditions. This plant is also an excellent candidate for a terrarium, which can provide the high humidity it needs.

Temperature: Keep the temperature between 18°C to 26°C for optimal growth. This hybrid is sensitive to cold and should be protected from drafts and temperatures below 15°C. Maintaining a warm, stable environment similar to its native habitat will encourage healthy growth and vibrant foliage.

All plants are shipped in their plastic nursery pot unless otherwise stated.

Plant pot sizes can fluctuate +/- 1cm.

We recommend to always size up your decorative pot by 1-2cm larger than the stated plant pot size. For example if you are purchasing a 12cm plant, you should purchase a 14cm decorative pot to ensure it will fit correctly.

That said, plants are living beings and may differ slightly from the photo provided unless otherwise stated. Small leaf imperfections may be present and won't be compensated for. Some plants such as Begonia may suffer slight leaf melt when shipped. This is normal and nothing to be concerned about.

All our plants are stores and/or grown in our nursery under LED lighting. The conditions in our nursery are a minimum of 60% humidity and 19C year round.
