Anthurium pandurilaminum, also known as Anthurium bullatus, is a striking and highly sought-after species within the Anthurium genus. This plant is known for its uniquely shaped, bullate (heavily textured or blistered) leaves, which are deeply lobed and have a characteristic pandurate (fiddle-shaped) form. The leaves are a deep green and possess a glossy finish, giving them a luxurious appearance. The distinctive bullate texture adds to the plant's appeal, making it a favourite among collectors of rare aroids.

Native to: Anthurium pandurilaminum is native to the tropical rainforests of Central and South America, particularly in regions of Colombia. It thrives in the humid understory of these forests, where it grows as an epiphyte or terrestrial plant in the shaded and moisture-rich environment.

Water: This plant prefers consistently moist soil but does not tolerate waterlogged conditions. Water when the top inch of the soil feels dry, ensuring that the potting mix remains well-drained. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so it is crucial to allow the soil to dry slightly between waterings.

Light: Anthurium pandurilaminum thrives in bright, indirect light. It should be kept out of direct sunlight, which can scorch its delicate leaves. An east or north-facing window is ideal for providing the diffused light it requires.

All plants are shipped in their plastic nursery pot unless otherwise stated.

Plant pot sizes can fluctuate +/- 1cm.

We recommend to always size up your decorative pot by 1-2cm larger than the stated plant pot size. For example if you are purchasing a 12cm plant, you should purchase a 14cm decorative pot to ensure it will fit correctly.

That said, plants are living beings and may differ slightly from the photo provided unless otherwise stated. Small leaf imperfections may be present and won't be compensated for. Some plants such as Begonia may suffer slight leaf melt when shipped. This is normal and nothing to be concerned about.

All our plants are stores and/or grown in our nursery under LED lighting. The conditions in our nursery are a minimum of 60% humidity and 19C year round.
