Anthurium bomboizense is known for its distinctive lobed foliage. Its large, glossy leaves emerge with a fresh green hue, gradually maturing into a deeper green. The plant exhibits an upright growth habit.

Native to Anthurium bomboizense is native to the tropical rainforests of Central and South America, where it thrives as an epiphyte in humid, shaded environments.

Water Maintain consistently moist soil for Anthurium bomboizense, allowing the top 1/3rd to dry out between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so ensure the pot has adequate drainage. During the growing season, water more frequently, reducing the frequency during cooler months.

Light Provide bright, indirect light to mimic its natural understory habitat. Direct sunlight can scorch the leaves, while insufficient light may hinder growth. Placing the plant near an east or north-facing window is ideal.

Humidity Anthurium bomboizense prefers high humidity levels, ideally between 60-80%. Some plants such as Begonia may suffer slight leaf melt when shipped. This is normal and nothing to be concerned about.

All our plants are stores and/or grown in our nursery under LED lighting so they are in active growth when arriving with you.

The conditions in our nursery are a minimum of 60% humidity and 19C year round.
