A striking species, Alocasia ‘Metalhead’ is a hybrid cross between Alocasia ‘Portora’ and Alocasia ‘Lauterbachiana’. The new leaves start off a deep dark purple-black and eventually turn greener once they mature

Water: Little and often. Keep moist but not waterlogged.

Ideal Position: East facing

Light: Bright, indirect or filtered light.
