Description
Three Alocasias that show how varied this genus can be.
Alocasia scalprum has narrow, thick, glossy leaves shaped like blades. 'Jacklyn' has deeply lobed leaves with a striking pattern of dark veins. 'Curly Bambino' stays compact, with dark, wavy edged leaves that ripple along their length.
All three want bright, indirect light, warmth and soil that drains well between waterings. They sit nicely together on a bright shelf, and each one shows off the others' leaf shapes.
What's in the bundle:
- Alocasia scalprum (12cm)
- Alocasia sp. 'Jacklyn' (6cm)
- Alocasia 'Curly Bambino' (6cm)
Starting an Alocasia collection? These three are a brilliant first set, and what's more, you save some money too.

This was my first purchase with grow tropicals; pleased to see the plant was in good condition as listing photo. Arrived in safe, protective packaging and the plant has adjusted great! Cannot forget the mention how beautiful this plant is and how interesting its backstory is!:green_heart:

Having lost a large one to thrips, l was keen to get another one but went for a baby plant, to grow on this time.

Love this shop. Every plant I’ve had so far has come in perfect condition and has gone onto thrive. Thoroughly recommend.
K
I think this baby is my new obsession: I’ve not had alocasia in a while and I had never ever heard of the Jacklyn. This little bay has come with four leaves already! I’ve since repot it and it seems happy!
K
Lovely healthy little plant with 2 good sized leaves and a new one sprouting, looks really glossy. Was packaged very carefully as always. A great little buy.
M

K
Really healthy plant with plenty of strong leaves for a juvenile.
K
Came in amazing condition. Looks in such good quality and the leaves are huge! I haven’t needed to repot yet but will continue to keep an eye. Absolutely love her!
C
This plant is so much more gorgeous in real life, the pictures on here don't do it justice. Arrived healthy and much larger than I expected.
The leaves are thick and leathery.
I also love this pot I got with it, sits in it perfectly.
C
Amazing little plant. In brilliant condition on arrival and has just thrived since.
New leaf on the way
J
Great little plant, love its soft Velcro leaves.
K
Cool looking leaves. Well packaged and had good roots too.
l
Oh my God, Jacklyn, I love you! Already had a new leave coming through when it arrived I love the stripey stems. I love these 6 cm plant pots as you get to see them from a tiny baby and I feel like it’s good for the plant because they don’t have the shock of changing environment when they’re already established into a bigger plant. Thank you Grow Tropicals
M
I ordered my Jacklyn back in August and it has been thriving!!!!
