We’re proud to share that GrowTropicals has been awarded Gold at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2026. This marks our third Chelsea Gold Medal (2023, 2025, 2026) and comes as part of one of the largest international conservation collaborations ever staged at the show.

Working alongside Orchid Conservation Chelsea and partners across the UK, China, Hong Kong, and the USA, we helped deliver a series of orchid-led exhibits inside the Great Pavilion, including The Orchids of China – Beauty & Conservation, which showcased rare species and highlighted the urgent need for orchid conservation worldwide.
A standout moment of the show was seeing Cymbidium faberi ‘Guanding’ receive the first-ever Chelsea RHS Award of Merit on OCC’s sister exhibit, a special recognition of its horticultural and historical importance.

With over 31,000 species, orchids are one of the most diverse plant families on Earth, playing a vital role in global ecosystems.
Our founder, Jacob James, said: “It’s always an honour to work with the world’s leading conservation organisations to deliver such an important message on the world’s biggest horticultural stage.”
After the show, many of the plants will move into long-term conservation collections, including work supported by The Mathers Foundation, ensuring their preservation for the future.
For those of you attending the Chelsea Flower Show this week, you’ll find us at Stand 091 in the Great Pavilion.
