Anthurium Michelle® by DocBlock® has been shortlisted for Plant of the Year 2026 at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show!

We’re thrilled to announce that, following our submission, Anthurium Michelle® by DocBlock® has been shortlisted for Plant of the Year 2026 at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

We're also excited to announce that we will be the UK’s official supplier of DocBlock® plants for 2026 and beyond.

Bred by Dr Jeff Block in Florida, Michelle® is maybe the most well-known of the DocBlock breeding lines. With its colourful emergent leaves, dark foliage, striking venation and improved vigour, it offers the best of Anthurium breeding for the home grower. The F3 generation was awarded Best New Flowering Plant at the 2022 Tropical Plant International Expo (TPIE), and has only grown in popularity since, becoming a must-have for serious Anthurium collectors.

This shortlist is especially meaningful to us. The RHS Chelsea Plant of the Year Award celebrates outstanding new or improved plants that push the boundaries of horticulture. We've always believed houseplants, especially foliage houseplants, deserve to be up there fighting alongside the garden plants for recognition at shows like the Chelsea Flower Show.

Working directly with Jeff and bringing his latest plants to the UK market is incredibly exciting, and this is only the first step! Lots more announcements to come.
