Native to: Peperomia prostrata is native to the tropical rainforests of Brazil, where it grows as an epiphyte on trees and rocks in shaded, humid environments.
Water: Allow the topsoil to dry out completely before watering your Peperomia prostrata. This plant is susceptible to root rot, so it's important to ensure good drainage and avoid waterlogging. During the winter months, reduce the frequency of watering as the plant's growth slows down.
Light: Peperomia prostrata does well in light to moderate light conditions, such as those found in a northern or east-facing window. It thrives in bright, indirect light but can tolerate lower light levels. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.
Humidity: Normal household humidity is sufficient for Peperomia prostrata. While it thrives in higher humidity levels, it can adapt to average indoor humidity. If your home is particularly dry, consider using a humidifier or placing the plant on a pebble tray with water.
Temperature: Peperomia prostrata prefers warmth, thriving at around 20°C. Keep the plant away from cold drafts and temperatures below 15°C, as it is sensitive to cold and prefers a stable, warm environment.

All plants are shipped in their plastic nursery pot unless otherwise stated.
Plant pot sizes can fluctuate +/- 1cm.
We recommend to always size up your decorative pot by 1-2cm larger than the stated plant pot size. For example if you are purchasing a 12cm plant, you should purchase a 14cm decorative pot to ensure it will fit correctly.
We pride ourselves on the love and care with give our plants. Our entire team are plant obsessives at heart and so we go above and beyond to care for the plants we have in stock.
That said, plants are living beings and may differ slightly from the photo provided unless otherwise stated. Small leaf imperfections may be present and won't be compensated for. Some plants such as Begonia may suffer slight leaf melt when shipped. This is normal and nothing to be concerned about.
All our plants are stores and/or grown in our nursery under LED lighting. The conditions in our nursery are a minimum of 60% humidity and 19C year round.
