Philodendron scandens 'Silver Stripe' is a stunning cultivar of the Heartleaf Philodendron, known for its beautiful variegated leaves featuring cream, white, silver, and light green patterns. This unique plant is relatively easy to care for.
Native to: While Philodendron hederaceum, the species to which this plant belongs, is native to Central America, the 'Silver Stripe' cultivar itself is a greenhouse mutation and not found in the wild.
Water: Water your Philodendron 'Silver Stripe' when the top 5-7 cm of the soil are dry. Ensure that the plant is in a pot with good drainage to avoid root rot. Typically, this means watering about once a week during the growing season and less frequently in the winter.
Light: Philodendron 'Silver Stripe' thrives in bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves and cause the variegation to fade. If natural light is insufficient, fluorescent lighting can be a good alternative.
Humidity: This plant prefers high humidity, ideally between 50% and 60%. If the indoor air is too dry, consider using a humidifier or placing the plant on a tray filled with pebbles and water.
Temperature: Philodendron 'Silver Stripe'' thrives in temperatures between 18°C to 29°C. Avoid exposing the plant to temperatures below 13°C.

That said, plants are living beings and may differ slightly from the photo provided unless otherwise stated. Small leaf imperfections may be present and won't be compensated for.
Some plants such as Begonia may suffer slight leaf melt when shipped. This is normal and nothing to be concerned about.
All our plants are stores and/or grown in our nursery under LED lighting so they are in active growth when arriving with you.
The conditions in our nursery are a minimum of 60% humidity and 19C year round.
