🌿 Plant Care Tips
This miniature fern is an unidentified species from the lush rainforests of Peru, adapted for humid, low-light conditions and compact in size, making it ideal for terrarium cultivation. While the exact taxonomy is unknown, it likely belongs to a group of ferns adapted to the moist, shaded understory of tropical forests.
Native to
Peru, specifically the humid rainforests of the Amazon basin and cloud forests. The species is adapted to growing in shaded areas with high humidity and stable temperatures, similar to the conditions found in the understory of dense forest canopies.
Water
Keep the soil evenly moist, but avoid waterlogging. It’s best to use a substrate that retains moisture well, such as an ABG mix. Mist regularly or provide a shallow water source nearby if grown in a terrarium.
Light
Low to medium indirect light is ideal. These ferns thrive in dappled shade, similar to what they would experience beneath the forest canopy. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the delicate fronds.
Humidity
High humidity is crucial, ideally between 70% and 90%, making it a perfect choice for terrarium setups. Without sufficient humidity, the fronds may brown or dry out at the tips.
Temperature
Prefers stable, warm temperatures between 18°C and 24°C. Avoid cold drafts and sudden temperature drops, as these can stress the plant. This fern is not frost-tolerant and should be kept away from sources of cold air, such as open windows in winter.

All plants are sent via express courier services with DPD, UPS, Parcelforce, and Royal Mail. Choose from economy (4–5 day dispatch), standard (1–3 day dispatch), or express for guaranteed next day dispatch available at checkout for an additional cost.
Winter shipping is available during colder months and includes heat packs and thermal insulation where needed.

All plants are shipped in their plastic nursery pot unless otherwise stated.
Plant pot sizes can fluctuate +/- 1cm.
We recommend to always size up your decorative pot by 1-2cm larger than the stated plant pot size. For example if you are purchasing a 12cm plant, you should purchase a 14cm decorative pot to ensure it will fit correctly.
We pride ourselves on the love and care with give our plants. Our entire team are plant obsessives at heart and so we go above and beyond to care for the plants we have in stock.
That said, plants are living beings and may differ slightly from the photo provided unless otherwise stated. Small leaf imperfections may be present and won't be compensated for.
Some plants such as Begonia, may suffer slight leaf melt when shipped. This is normal and nothing to be concerned about.
All our plants are stores and/or grown in our nursery under LED lighting so they are in active growth when arriving with you.
The conditions in our nursery are a minimum of 60% humidity and 19C year round.
