Description
Vermiculite is similar to perlite in that it’s made from naturally occurring minerals that expand upon heating. It offers the same aeration properties as perlite but better retains moisture and nutrients for longer lasting root hydration between waterings. Ideal for seed germinated and is often mixed with a seed compost for best results.

Excellent quality vermiculite and quite large in size so no dusty, unusable small pieces in the bag. I make up my own potting compost and all the components come from Grow Tropicals as the quality of items is definitely the best.
