Description
Two small plants that thrive under glass, plus the mix to grow them in.
Peperomia prostrata, the string of turtles, trails tiny patterned leaves over the soil, and Actiniopteris australis is a miniature fern with fans of fine fronds that look like little palms. Together they give a terrarium texture at two levels, low and trailing below with a soft upright fern above.
Both enjoy steady humidity and soil that stays lightly moist. Simply Terrarium's tropical mix is made for exactly that, holding moisture without getting soggy, so you can plant them straight into a jar, cloche or open terrarium.
