Description
Two compact Alocasias and the potting mix they grow best in.
'Red Secret' has thick, shiny leaves with a metallic copper-red sheen that shifts in the light. 'Curly Bambino' adds dark green, arrow-shaped leaves with wavy edges on a plant that stays neat and small.
Both like bright indirect light, warmth and humidity, and roots that get air as well as water. Our Alocasia Premium Potting Mix is made for exactly that, so you can pot them on with confidence when they are ready.
What's in the bundle:
- Alocasia cuprea 'Red Secret' (6cm)
- Alocasia 'Curly Bambino' (6cm)
- Alocasia Premium Potting Mix (2.5L)

Love my new alocasia so much, it came really well packaged and is the most perfect plant not a mark on it definitely ordering again x
J
Bought this to repot my dying alocasia (which only has one baby leaf left) and since repotting with this soil a new stem has emerged and everything is looking good! The soil feels moist and a good quality mix too
C
Absolutely beautiful plant! Arrived in excellent condition with 2 large leaves that have an amazing metallic sheen to the bronze coloured leaves. Has already begun to sprout a new leaf, very healthy plant!
A
Love this shop. Every plant I’ve had so far has come in perfect condition and has gone onto thrive. Thoroughly recommend.
K
Lovely healthy little plant with 2 good sized leaves and a new one sprouting, looks really glossy. Was packaged very carefully as always. A great little buy.
L
Beautiful plant and growing away steadily
K
A decent sized bag. Haven't used this yet but ran my hand through it and felt moist and looks to be a superior substrate with a good mix for root growth, drainage and plant nutrients. Will save me the cost and time of making my own.

Bought a few plants in one batch very well packaged and in great condition very happy plant. It’s been home 7 days and unfurled a new leaf not dropped one stunning
E
Came perfectly wrapped, fully intact. Beautiful leaves that change as you look at them from different directions, like beautiful metal alian leaves. 2 new leaves sprouted in a month. Stunning!
T
Great quality, having a growth spurt, and I actually had a bonus mini plant as extra!
K
Really healthy plant with plenty of strong leaves for a juvenile.
C
The leaves are gorgeous like a jewels. The leaf colour gets more blush as they emerge. Stunning plant to have for any collection. Well worth getting it has to be seen in person, absolutely amazing, love it!
A
Good quality soil, nice and chunky which is great as alocasias have a tendency to rot easily
A
I’m slowly moving my alocasias over to semi hydro but I do still have a fair few in soil and this is great, a very chunky and well draining mix but holds moisture too
M
Wow, what a beautiful plant ! It arrived very well protected and as you can see from the picture is a great specimen.
The colour is amazing and I can't wait for the upcoming new leaf to unfurl.
Thank you so much.
A
Great drainage, getting through it quickly so I’m sure I’ll order more soon
K
I have been wanting one of these for a while and it did not disappoint! It's dark but the metallic reddish pattern is striking especially on the newer leaves. It looks really great alongside the Alocasia azlanii (which is more purple). My plant had three big leaves when I picked it up, and a few days later it started pushing a fourth.
A
This plant has almost burgundy red metallic leaves. It arrived in a good condition and has developed a new leaf since. Hopefully it will grow well in Alocasia potting mix that I also got in my delivery.
C
