Simply Houseplant has been designed from the ground up as a high-quality, all-purpose repotting mix designed to give excellent results with a wide range of indoor houseplants.

We spent the last few months working on the composition in partnership with our friends at Ecothrive, who shared their expert knowledge on growing media compositions. We had the goal of producing the ultimate affordable growing media for houseplants. After many rounds of alterations, growing tests and lab soil analysis in the USA, Simply Houseplant was born.

Produced with a uniquely formulated base of Coco Coir, Growfibre, Bark and Perlite, Simply Houseplant also comes amended with a specially formulated nutritional profile designed to give your houseplants a nutritional boost from the start. The nutritional profile of Simply Houseplant has been designed with tropical houseplants in mind, to make available all the key nutrients (N,P,K) and also micronutrients (Ca, S, Mg, B, Cu, Fe, Mn, Mo, Zn) needed for the strong growth of indoor foliage plants, at the right proportions, for the first 6-8 weeks once repotted.

Unlike our popular Jungle Mix formulation, Simply Houseplant is designed for use in normal household conditions with ambient humidity. Over the last few months. testing has shown excellent results with a huge range of plants from Monstera ‘Thai Constellation’, all the way to a Ficus, Begonia and a Pelargonium.

Please note, our 50L soil option is packaged in a box with a plastic lining.

We always aim to make sure our customers love our products, but if you do need to return an order within 14 days of purchase (not including plants*), or any items are damaged, we’re happy to help. Just email us directly at hello@growtropicals.com, and we’ll take you through the process.
Please note: we cannot be held liable for any packaging costs should the original packaging be discarded.

*Unfortunately we cannot accept returns of undamaged plants as these are perishable items and are not saleable upon return. If a plant is damaged, we will compensate for this as per our live arrival guarantee.
When placing your order, you can choose from three dispatch speeds to suit your needs: Economy (prepared and shipped within 4-5 days), Standard (3-5 days), or Express (dispatched the very next day). Please keep in mind that "dispatch" refers to the time it takes our team to prepare and pack your items before handing them over to the courier, not the total delivery time.

Additionally, to protect the health and quality of our live plants, orders containing plants are exclusively shipped Monday through Thursday. This careful scheduling prevents your plants from being stuck in a dark shipping depot over the weekend, ensuring they arrive at your door vibrant and healthy.

Fabulous compost!

Compost is excellent. No sign or any beasties which a number of other house plant composts have. Have repotted several different varieties of plants in it and they are all thriving.

So far i have re-potted a Dracaena Marginata, a Ficus Benjamina and a Ficus Belize and they all look very healthy. My plants seem to love this stuff.
