Scindapsus pictus 'Sparkling Borneo' is a cultivar of the classic Scindapsus pictus, distinguished by its glittery silvery foliage
Native to: The Scindapsus genus originates from the tropical regions of Southeast Asia, including countries such as Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia. In its natural habitat, it thrives as an understory plant, climbing trees and other structures.
Water: Allow the top inch of soil to dry out before watering. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so it's essential to ensure the pot has adequate drainage. During the growing season (spring and summer), maintain consistent moisture levels, reducing frequency in the dormant months (autumn and winter).
Light: Scindapsus pictus 'Sparkling Borneo' prefers bright, indirect light but can tolerate lower light conditions. Avoid direct sunlight, as it may cause leaf scorching. In lower light, growth may slow, and leaf colour can become less vibrant.
Humidity: This plant thrives in moderate to high humidity levels, ideally between 50% and 70%. In typical indoor environments, it adapts well, but occasional misting or the use of a humidity tray can be beneficial, especially during the dry winter months.
Temperature: Maintain indoor temperatures between 18°C and 24°C. Scindapsus pictus 'Sparkling Borneo' is sensitive to cold drafts and sudden temperature changes, so keep it away from open windows and heating vents.

That said, plants are living beings and may differ slightly from the photo provided unless otherwise stated. Small leaf imperfections may be present and won't be compensated for.
Some plants such as Begonia may suffer slight leaf melt when shipped. This is normal and nothing to be concerned about.
All our plants are stores and/or grown in our nursery under LED lighting so they are in active growth when arriving with you.
The conditions in our nursery are a minimum of 60% humidity and 19C year round.
