The 'Sensation Variegata' cultivar, developed for its distinctive variegated foliage and larger size, shares this tropical heritage, thriving in environments that mimic the warm, humid conditions of its origins.

Water: This plant prefers consistently moist soil. Watering is recommended when the top 2–3 centimeters of the soil feel dry to the touch. It's crucial to avoid waterlogging, as excessive moisture can lead to root rot. The plant may exhibit drooping leaves when it requires watering, which typically recover shortly after hydration. Using filtered or dechlorinated water is advisable, as 'Sensation Variegata' can be sensitive to chemicals commonly found in tap water.

Light: 'Sensation Variegata' tolerates low light conditions but flourishes in medium to bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight should be avoided, as it can scorch the leaves. Positioning the plant near east or north-facing windows with filtered light is ideal.
