Our Imperfect Plants are healthy and ready to grow, but they show a little more character than those in our main range. These plants may have some cosmetic quirks such as old pest damage, slight browning, twisted or stunted growth, or a few damaged leaves. None of these issues affect their long-term health, and every plant is checked by our team to ensure it’s rooted and ready to thrive in your care.
By choosing an Imperfect Plant, you’re giving a perfectly good plant a second chance. It’s a simple way to grow your collection while helping us reduce waste and make our production more sustainable. Each one is unique, with its own story and charm, perfect for anyone who values growth in all its forms.
Due to the nature of these plants, Imperfect Plants are not eligible for exchanges or refunds.
Anthurium clarinervium is a beautiful and exquisite Anthurium variety, perfect for rare houseplant collectors. Known for its gorgeous crystalline and velvety textured leaves adorned with stunning silver markings, this plant is an eye-catching addition to any indoor plant collection.
Native to: Anthurium clarinervium is native to the tropical regions of Mexico, where it grows in the humid, shaded understory of the forest.
Growth Habit: This Anthurium has a hemiepiphytic growth habit, meaning it can start its life attached to other plants or objects and then transition to soil-based growth. Providing a well-draining, airy substrate will help mimic its natural conditions.
Water: Water your Anthurium clarinervium when the top 3 cm of substrate is dry. It's important to keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged to avoid root rot. Ensure your pot has good drainage to allow excess water to escape.
Light: This plant thrives in bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight can scorch its delicate leaves, so place it near an east-facing window or use sheer curtains to filter the light if necessary.
Humidity: While Anthurium clarinervium can grow well outside of a terrarium or cabinet, it thrives in high humidity environments. To achieve this, consider using a humidifier, placing the plant on a pebble tray with water, or grouping it with other plants to maintain the necessary moisture levels.
Temperature: Maintain a stable temperature range between 18°C to 26°C for optimal growth. Keep the plant away from drafts, air conditioners, and heating vents to prevent stress and damage to its leaves.

All plants are sent via express courier services with DPD, UPS, Parcelforce, and Royal Mail. Choose from economy (4–5 day dispatch), standard (1–3 day dispatch), or express for guaranteed next day dispatch available at checkout for an additional cost.
Winter shipping is available during colder months and includes heat packs and thermal insulation where needed.

All plants are shipped in their plastic nursery pot unless otherwise stated.
Plant pot sizes can fluctuate +/- 1cm.
We recommend to always size up your decorative pot by 1-2cm larger than the stated plant pot size. For example if you are purchasing a 12cm plant, you should purchase a 14cm decorative pot to ensure it will fit correctly.
We pride ourselves on the love and care with give our plants. Our entire team are plant obsessives at heart and so we go above and beyond to care for the plants we have in stock.
That said, plants are living beings and may differ slightly from the photo provided unless otherwise stated. Small leaf imperfections may be present and won't be compensated for.
Some plants such as Begonia, may suffer slight leaf melt when shipped. This is normal and nothing to be concerned about.
All our plants are stores and/or grown in our nursery under LED lighting so they are in active growth when arriving with you.
The conditions in our nursery are a minimum of 60% humidity and 19C year round.
