Native to
Cordyline plants are native to Southeast Asia and the Pacific Islands. The 'Peacock' variety is a cultivated form, bred for its ornamental value. In its natural habitat, Cordyline grows in tropical forests, thriving in warm, humid conditions under the canopy of taller trees.
Water
Allow the top few centimetres of soil to dry out between watering. Cordyline 'Peacock' prefers moist but well-drained soil and does not tolerate waterlogged conditions. It’s best to water thoroughly and then let the soil dry slightly before the next watering. Reduce watering during winter when the plant’s growth slows.
Light
Bright, indirect light is ideal for maintaining the vibrant colours of Cordyline 'Peacock'. It can tolerate lower light levels but may lose some of its colour intensity. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves, especially during the hottest part of the day.
Humidity
Cordyline 'Peacock' prefers moderate to high humidity, ideally around 50-60%. If the indoor air is too dry, especially in winter, occasional misting or placing the plant near a humidifier can help. Higher humidity also enhances the leaf colour and overall health of the plant.
Temperature
This plant thrives in temperatures between 18°C and 24°C. It is sensitive to cold, so it should be kept away from draughty windows or doors and not exposed to temperatures below 12°C. Consistent warmth encourages healthy growth and vibrant foliage.

All plants are shipped in their plastic nursery pot unless otherwise stated.
Plant pot sizes can fluctuate +/- 1cm.
We recommend to always size up your decorative pot by 1-2cm larger than the stated plant pot size. For example if you are purchasing a 12cm plant, you should purchase a 14cm decorative pot to ensure it will fit correctly.
We pride ourselves on the love and care with give our plants. Our entire team are plant obsessives at heart and so we go above and beyond to care for the plants we have in stock.
That said, plants are living beings and may differ slightly from the photo provided unless otherwise stated. Small leaf imperfections may be present and won't be compensated for. Some plants such as Begonia may suffer slight leaf melt when shipped. This is normal and nothing to be concerned about.
All our plants are stores and/or grown in our nursery under LED lighting. The conditions in our nursery are a minimum of 60% humidity and 19C year round.
