Anthurium warocqueanum x magnificum is a stunning hybrid that combines the best traits of its parent species. This plant is prized for its large, velvety leaves with striking venation, making it a centerpiece in any indoor anthurium collection.

Native to: The parent species of this hybrid, Anthurium warocqueanum and Anthurium magnificum, are native to the rainforests of Colombia and Ecuador, thriving in the humid, shaded understory.
Water: Water your Anthurium warocqueanum x magnificum thoroughly, allowing the top layer of soil to dry out slightly between waterings. It's crucial to provide good drainage to prevent waterlogging, as this plant is prone to root rot if left in overly wet conditions. Adjust the watering frequency during the winter months when the plant’s growth slows down.
Light: This plant prefers bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight can scorch its delicate leaves, so it’s best positioned in a spot where it receives filtered light. While it can tolerate lower light levels, the foliage may not be as vibrant, and growth may be slower.
Humidity: High humidity levels between 70% and 90% are ideal for this Anthurium hybrid. In regular indoor settings, use a humidifier, place the plant on a pebble tray filled with water, or mist the leaves regularly to maintain the necessary humidity.
Temperature: Maintain a temperature range of 18°C to 26°C for optimal growth. This plant is sensitive to cold, so avoid exposing it to temperatures below 15°C. Keeping the plant within this temperature range will support healthy growth and maintain the vibrant, velvety texture of its leaves.

All our plants are stores and/or grown in our nursery under LED lighting so they are in active growth when arriving with you.
The conditions in our nursery are a minimum of 60% humidity and 19C year round.
