Monstera obliqua 'Panama' is a rare and highly sought-after variety within the Monstera genus. It's one of the only obliqua clones that doesn't fenestrate making it an interesting addition to any Monstera collection.

Native to: Monstera obliqua is a group of plants (or maybe related species) that are  indigenous to the tropical rainforests of Central and South America, with documented occurrences in countries such as Suriname, Peru, and Brazil. This clone is from Panama and in its natural habitat, it thrives as an hemi-epiphytic climber, ascending tree trunks in the humid understory.

Water: Maintain consistently moist soil without allowing it to become waterlogged. Let the top layer of the substrate dry slightly between waterings to prevent root rot. This species is sensitive to water quality, so using rainwater or filtered water is recommended to avoid mineral buildup.

Light: Requires bright, indirect light to maintain its delicate foliage. Too much direct sunlight can scorch the leaves, while low light may result in reduced fenestrations and slower growth. A position near an east- or west-facing window with filtered light is ideal.

Humidity: Thrives in higher humidity levels, ideally above 60%. This makes it well-suited for terrariums or enclosed plant cabinets where humidity can be controlled. 

Temperature: Prefers warm conditions, with an optimal temperature range of 20°C to 30°C. It is sensitive to cold and should not be exposed to temperatures below 15°C. Keep it away from drafts and sudden temperature fluctuations to prevent stress.
