Native to: Episcia species are native to the tropical forests of Mexico, Brazil, and Colombia, where they thrive in warm, humid environments.
Water: Maintain consistently moist soil, allowing the top layer to dry slightly between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so ensure the pot has adequate drainage. During the growing season, water more frequently, reducing the frequency during the plant's dormant period in winter.
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight can scorch the leaves, while insufficient light may cause the vibrant leaf colours to fade. A location near an east or north-facing window is ideal.
Humidity: Thrives in high humidity environments. Regular misting or placing the plant on a humidity tray can help maintain the necessary moisture levels. Avoid placing the plant near drafts or in dry air, as this can cause leaf edges to brown.
Temperature: Favours warm indoor temperatures between 18°C and 24°C. Protect the plant from cold drafts and sudden temperature fluctuations. Ensure temperatures do not drop below 15°C to prevent stress.

That said, plants are living beings and may differ slightly from the photo provided unless otherwise stated. Small leaf imperfections may be present and won't be compensated for.
Some plants such as Begonia may suffer slight leaf melt when shipped. This is normal and nothing to be concerned about.
All our plants are stores and/or grown in our nursery under LED lighting so they are in active growth when arriving with you.
The conditions in our nursery are a minimum of 60% humidity and 19C year round.
