Epipremnum ‘Snow Leopard’ is a striking variegated cultivar of Epipremnum, sometimes commonly called Pothos, noted for its creamy‑white and light‑green marbled foliage and its climbing or trailing habit. Its leaves often show bold blocks or splashes of white variegation over deep green, making each plant visually unique. It can be grown to climb a support or allowed to cascade, depending on your space and styling preferences.
Native to: While the exact hybrid origin is not always fully documented, Epipremnum species are tropical in origin (Southeast Asia) and this cultivar retains the climbing‑vine habit typical of the genus. In cultivation it will climb if given a moss pole or support, or trail from a shelf or hanging pot.
Water: Allow the top 2–3 cm of the potting medium to dry out before watering again. Over‑watering (or letting the roots sit in soggy soil) is the most common cause of trouble. Water more sparingly in cooler months.
Light: Provide bright filtered light. Avoid strong direct sunlight on the leaves with white variegation, as the white areas lack chlorophyll and can be scorched. Insufficient light will reduce variegation (the white may revert to green) and slow growth.
Humidity: It tolerates average indoor humidity levels (around 40–60 %) but benefits from higher humidity if available. Very dry air may cause edges of leaves to brown or the variegation to dull.
Temperature: Optimal indoor temperatures are in the range of 18–28 °C. Avoid exposure to temperatures below about 15 °C, and avoid placing the plant in cold draughts or directly beside very hot dry radiators.
