Tillandsia 'Mizuki' is a striking hybrid Tillandsia valued for its striking red blooms and ease of maintenance, like other members of the Tillandsia genus.
While specific hybrid origins vary, Tillandsias generally hail from the tropical and subtropical regions of Central and South America, where they grow as epiphytes in humid forests or even semi-arid regions. This background gives them a preference for bright, indirect light and good air circulation.

Bright, indirect light is ideal, with at least 4-6 hours daily. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, which may scorch the leaves. A well-lit east or north-facing window works well, or consider placing it under a full-spectrum grow light if natural light is limited.
Tillandsia 'Mizuki' enjoys moderate humidity, around 50-70%, which makes it well-suited to kitchens or bathrooms with indirect light. In dry indoor environments, misting regularly or placing the plant near a humidity source can support healthy growth. Good air circulation is essential to prevent rot.
Optimal temperatures range from 15-28°C (59-82°F). Avoid exposing it to temperatures below 10°C (50°F) as it is sensitive to cold. Ensure it’s kept away from drafts or cold windows, particularly in winter.

All our plants are stores and/or grown in our nursery under LED lighting so they are in active growth when arriving with you.
The conditions in our nursery are a minimum of 60% humidity and 19C year round.
