🌿 Plant Care Tips

This plant's overall frond shape is triangular and will eventually droop with gravity, making it the Weeping Willow of ferns. Cultivar of Adiantum raddianum which is native to South America.

  • Known as the Delta Maidenhair Fern because it is a moisture lover, naturally growing at river banks and because of its delicate, hair-like foliage.
  • Fine, delicate, tear-drop or spade shaped, overlapping segments make up this fern's fronds.
  • Tolerant of lower light conditions.

Growth pattern: Clump-forming, arching & bushy.

Water: When the top of the soil looks dry. Likes to stay moist.

Ideal Position: North or east facing.

Light: Medium to bright, indirect light.

Recommended Substrate: Fern Mix

Humidity disclaimer: This plant will grow well outside of a terrarium or cabinet. However, all tropical plants thrive with higher humidity levels. To achieve this we suggest grouping plants together, or putting them in a bathroom or kitchen which gets regular use..
